Le Bouillon - Saver的前厨师的美食广场上的优质法国美食
法国食品通常被认为是一种放纵的精美美食,大部分时间也沿着沉重的价格拖延。由于严重缺乏在美食广场或小贩中心的存在,这种心态更加根深蒂固。但是,缓慢但可以肯定的是,我们现在看到越来越多的它。Le Bouillon是其中之一,也是合法的。

但是放松,这不是您的想法。事实证明,Le Bouillon由前厨师,Saveur的厨师紫杉T恤领导。好吧,我很高兴看到他和他的团队为我们准备了什么。我们可以看到菜肴的票价吗?
The staff filled us in on the Pork Ragout Angel Hair Pasta ($5.90) which was available on the day of our visit. I guess we got lucky as it’s only available from time to time! Abandoning the Linguine Pasta served with Crab Meat Sauce, we went with the staff’s recommendation. Little pork cubes bathed in a rich tomato-based sauce was generously drenched over the twirled pasta. Instead of an angel, this dish revealed itself to be just a mortal after all. There was nothing much that wowed us, but we think that it will be a hit among children. Do note that this is not a regular item, which explains its absence on the menu.
The Pan Sear Duck Confit ($15.90) bears a striking resemblance to Saveur’s, but taste-wise, there is a marginal difference. The flavours are more well-balanced in Le Bouillon, showing off the perfectly-honed skills of the chef. Crack open the crispy duck skin to expose the moist flesh which falls apart easily. Needless to say, we polished this plate clean. If anything, just don’t duck this plate of excitement.
The signature Half Roasted Spring Chicken ($13.90) features chicken thighs perfectly roasted to a stunning brown, laying atop a bed of warm mashed potatoes. The sauce used is a unique concoction of bacon, garlic, olives, capers and chicken jus, which jazzed up the basic flavours of the chicken. Despite the protein being slightly undercooked, the meat itself was tender and juicy. Moving on to the sides, I love me some good mashed potatoes and Le Bouillon’s definitely ticked all the right boxes for me. Creamy, buttery and smooth; you will wipe that all out!
Although the setting ain’t the most romantic or spectacular, the food is fine as hell and most importantly, inexpensive. If CBD is your second home on weekdays, heed our advice and make your way to Clifford Centre during lunch. (You can thank us later.) You might be glad to know that it opens on Saturdays until 3pm as well.
